Competition chassis sold as a road car. The Evo lineup.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a competition chassis sold as a road car. The Evo VIII, IX, and X have been BC Racing-supported platforms since BC entered the Canadian market. The kit-to-chassis match is natural because both are oriented toward serious driving.
Mitsubishi fitment coverage
Lancer Evolution VIII, IX, and X. Lancer Ralliart. Eclipse across 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations, including the turbo and 4G63-swapped chassis the engine-swap community keeps alive. 3000GT for the GT-platform fans.
Which BC Racing series for Mitsubishi
The BR Series handles most Evo street builds with autocross or weekend track use. Daily-driven Evo IX or X chassis are well-served by the BR with appropriate AWD-specific spring rates. Typically 12k/10k for street use.
Evo VIII, IX, or X buyers building serious track or rallycross cars step up to the ER Series. The Evo is built for hard driving. The ER's dual-adjustable damping matches.
Evo X buyers prepping for competition use often look at the RM or ZR Series. The chassis absorbs whatever you throw at it.
Cross-platform note
Rally-heritage AWD owners share build philosophy across makes. Subaru WRX and STI fitments use similar approaches.
